It’s hard to believe that I, Kevin, have Lave to share a room with. I know what you’re thinking, why would a university let a boy and a girl share a room? Well, Lave is no ordinary girl, she’s spectacular. She’s amazing. She’s my best friend. She is the world to me. Just looking at her while unpacking her clothes gives me butterflies in my stomach. How did I become so happy? I remember the day I met Lave. My life has never been the same since then. She came to live with me the summer before my freshman year of high school. My parents thought it would be a good idea to introduce us. My mother can be quite curious. So there we were, walking to Lave’s house as they were unloading the U-Haul. My mother brought a cake she had made earlier that day. It was a stereotypical getting to know the neighbors kind of visit. We met Lave’s father who was carrying a box with Lave’s name on it. He greeted us kindly when he saw us walking.
He seemed like a quiet man, friendly enough. His name is Dave and his wife Laura came out and greeted us as well. My parents talked to them while I tried to pretend I was paying attention. Then she walked out the door! Her dark brunette hair all pulled up in a ponytail, a bright smile painted on her face… It was as if the sun and moon were revolving around her. At least, that’s what I thought. She was wearing relatively short black basketball shorts that showed off her muscular legs. She was also wearing a tight navy blue t-shirt. You could barely see her abs.
She was gorgeous. I still remember the first thing I said to her. “This is our beautiful daughter Lave,” her mother told us. “Lave is meeting our neighbors. John, Meredith, and Kevin.” “I Kevin I’m Lave,” I spat out without thinking. “Wait that’s not good…” She laughed the most beautiful laugh I’ve ever heard. “Nice to meet you, Lave,” she joked. Her sense of humor was definitely one of the things that attracted me to her. “Hey, I have a great idea, Kevin why don’t you show Lave around town?” my mom asked.
Which was perfect. “Yeah, that’s a great idea. Lave would love it,” her mother offered. And before I knew it, we were riding our bikes around town. Checking out different stores. It was clear that Santa Barbara was too big to show her in one day, so I took her to the best ice cream parlor ever! It was heavenly. You see, I was a nobody at my school, San Marcos. Literally invisible. But Lave, she was somebody, at least to me. We both ordered an ice cream cone and I paid. We ate our ice cream at one of the tables. “So… What’s the scoop on the school here?” she asked. “You’re going to San Marcos, right? Not Santa Barbara High?” I asked. “There are two different high schools in Santa Barbara.” “Yeah, which one has the blue and red team colors? That’s San Marcos right?” she asked. “Yep!”
“Then that’s where I enroll,” she said. “Too crazy! That’s where I’m going too!” I added. “It’s a typical high school cliché. Literally, you have the school divided into a bunch of cliques further divided by even more cliques.” “So you’re saying there are cliques within cliques?” she asked. “Yep and to make it even more complicated, certain cliques pretty much rule the school and other cliques are pretty much outcasts,” I added. “Let me guess, the popular kids, who are probably the rich kids and the sporty ones, rule the school?” she asked as she slowly slid her tongue over the mountain of ice cream that lay on her cone. I couldn’t help but watch. “Yep, pretty much…” I replied. “Totally cliché!” she grinned. “So which clique are you in?” “Me?” I asked as I took a big lick of my ice cream. “I don’t really belong to any of them.” “Oh… A loner,” she said with a slightly exaggerated tone. “You don’t look like a loner.” “Then what do I look like?”
“Someone who buys a girl ice cream and jokes about clichés,” she joked. “Not exactly lonely qualities. I bet you’re the nice guy everyone sees as their friend.” “Ha, I doubt that. I’m more the nerd who reads too many comics,” I admitted. “Wow, at a school where the sportsmen rule, you’re not afraid to admit you’re a nerd. You’re brave! I admire that,” she said. Looking back on that day, it’s hard to believe all that happened until today. The day we moved into our room. Lave looks at me as she folds her clothes. She gives me that bright, beautiful smile. I’ve seen that smile so many times and yet I still can’t get used to it. “What?” she asks. “Nothing,” I mutter, looking away quickly. I look back to see if she’s still looking at me, which of course she is. “Seriously, you keep staring at me… “ She gives me that look. “What are you thinking about right now?” “I just can’t believe we’re roommates!” I tell her. “I know, right?” she laughs, even though I know the reason we’re roommates bothers her quite a bit. “Hey, remember that time we played hooky and walked the trails in San Antonio Canyon Park?” she asked.
“How could I forget, you almost forced me!” “That’s not how I remember it, you almost begged me to go.” “No way. As I remember it, we cycled to class and you asked if I wanted to play hooky with you.” I remember that day all too well. It was April of our freshman year. She asked me out of the blue if I wanted to play hooky with her. I hesitated at first. Came up with every excuse in the book. “We can’t skip, what about the quiz in Earth Science?” I asked.
“Who cares! It’s not like we’re going to use Earth Science after we graduate…” she argued. “Come on Kevin, you know you want to! When you’re old and gray, what memories do you want to look back on? The time you passed that earth science class or the day you played hooky with the coolest girl in the country?” “I wouldn’t go that far … The coolest girl in town? Maybe… “ I said with a quip. “Oh shut up… Are you coming or not?” she asked.
“Well…” I replied. I followed her past the school for a few kilometers until we reached the park. The park itself was just a small strip of trees, but when you’re always surrounded by buildings, it felt like a forest. We hid our bikes and started walking up the paths. After a while, we found a fallen tree and sat down for a little break.
“So what’s the real reason you wanted to skip?” I asked her. She turned and looked me in the eye. It felt like she was looking for something. Looking back on it now, I realize she was trying to figure out if she could trust me or not. “I just needed a break,” she sighed. “I guess I understand. Life sucks at this age…” I replied. “You have no idea!” she said. “Then what is it?” I asked. “It’s nothing…” she muttered as she looked away. “It must be something, you can tell me. I’m not going to tell anyone.” I told her. “Besides, who should I tell?” She glanced at me. “It’s my parents…” “Laura and Dave?” I asked. “What happened?” “They never seem to stop fighting. I think they’re getting a divorce.” “Oh…” I sighed. “Did they say that?” “No, but it’s just… The way they talk to each other, or how they act when they think I’m not there.” she tried to explain. “It’s the subtle things. How they avoid each other and the looks they give each other.
It’s pretty much written on the wall.” “If it ever gets to the point where you need someone to talk to or a place to escape, you’re always welcome,” I told her. “Thanks, I appreciate that.” She leaned forward and laid her head on my shoulder. It felt like a jolt went through my system. “I feel like I can always count on you, Kevin.” That day was one of the best days of my life, until this moment. We stayed like that for a while before we left. “Earth to Kevin!” Lave waves her hand in front of my face, pulling me out of my thoughts. “I lost you for a moment.” “Sorry, I was just thinking back to that day, life was so simple then,” I sigh. “Speak for yourself, life was never simple for me,” she sighs. “But I know what you mean.”
“Right, sorry…” It’s hard to believe that the girl I met then had already been through so much. She hid her pain so well. “God Kevin, you don’t always have to apologize.” She gave me a smile; I knew she was joking. She always liked to mess around. I still remember the night of our freshman year before her basketball game with our rival school, the Santa Barbara Dons, with whom we shared the same town. I awoke that night to a hand covering my mouth. A person wearing a ski mask was leaning over me. I just about went crazy. “Easy Kev, it’s just me.” “Lave?” I asked in surprise. She pulled off her mask and that all too familiar face appeared in front of me. She had the biggest grin on her face. “I got you one too!” “Why do I need a ski mask? Are you planning to rob a bank?” I asked, as a flood of scary ideas shot through my head. “No Doo Doo, we’re just going to put up some banners,” she said with a sneaky smile. “Then why do you need a ski mask?” “Because we don’t want to get caught, of course!” she replied. “Why do we have to worry about getting caught if we just put up banners? And why do we have to do it in the middle of the night?” “Because we’re doing it at Santa Barbara High School, duh! Look, we need you! So are you in or not Scout?”
And of course, she called me that. Scout-it’s short for Boy Scout. I’ve never been in the Boy Scouts, but Jess thinks I’m the “nice guy” who would make the perfect Boy Scout. “Well … I better not get in trouble!” I said. “Okay Mr. Dudley DoRight,” and there’s another nickname, but it amounts to the same thing. I pull myself out of bed and turn on the bedside lamp. “Someone had a good dream!” She laughed. I looked down and saw that there was a tent in my pants. I quickly grabbed a pillow to cover myself. “Were you dreaming about me!” She asked sarcastically with that wicked smile. “Are you going to make me get dressed?” I asked embarrassed. “Oh come on, it’s not like I’ve never seen a boner before,” she sighed. I glanced at her and finally she relented. “All right, hurry up. Sarah and Tiff are waiting in the van.”
“Wait, Sarah and Tiff from the basketball team?!” I stammered. “No, the other Sarah and Tiff I hang out with…” she said with a bit of irritation in her voice. “No need to be rude,” I muttered as I pulled on a pair of socks, pants and a hoodie. I followed her to the van, which had a huge ladder on it. We got in the back, with Sarah in the driver’s seat and Tiff in the front.
“Hey Sarah, hey Tiff, what’s the plan?” I asked. “We’re going to put those posters up all over Santa Barbara High,” Sarah explained. “By the time anyone notices, everyone will arrive at school and there won’t be enough time to take them all down,” Tiff added. “What exactly is on those posters?” I asked. “Oh, you’ll see!” said Lave with a rather sneaky grin on her face. It wasn’t long before we arrived at the school. Jess hands me a ski mask and we all put it on. I help Sarah get the ladder down while Tiff and Lave grab all the posters. We hurry to the entrance of the school. It’s a big, rather grand entrance. It reminded me of a main building in Mexico. Sarah and I set the ladder against the entrance. Tiff handed me a poster and some nylon rope.
“Okay, now climb up the ladder and hang this poster.” “Why do I have to be the one to hang up this poster?” I asked. “Because you’re a better climber! Duh!” Said Lave. “How do you figure that?” I asked her. “Stop wasting time, we’ll get caught next! Just climb the ladder and hang up the poster. By the time we stop arguing, you can have hung it up,” Sarah said. Without another second’s hesitation, I climbed up the ladder and tied one end of the poster to some kind of window balcony that is not actually a balcony, it just looks like it could be. After climbing back down, I moved the ladder and repeated the process. Finally, I looked at the poster and almost died of laughter. It said Prison For Sale with Santa Barbara High School’s phone number underneath. We hung signs all over the school, some funnier than others. Your mom called you left your game at home Toot your lips and kiss your winning streak goodbye. Learn to handle the pressure because you are about to be defeated. We finally finished and left. It was one of the best memories ever. The next day, those signs blew up on social media. The kids at Santa Barbara High were so angry. When the people at our school found out, it was all they could talk about.
No one knew who had done it. Nobody except us. “Kevin!” I come out of my daydream and see Lave looking at me funny. “Sorry…” I spat out quickly. “There you go apologizing again,” she says jokingly. “I just remembered the time we put up those posters at Santa Barbara High,” I tell her. “Oh, good times! Those girls were pissed when we played them later that night. Too bad we ended up losing,” Lave sighs. “But you guys beat them in the conference finals next year,” I say. “Yes, because one of their star players Lashun Valler had graduated. They still had Sally Ban, but without both of them it was easier to isolate Sally,” she explains. “But still, they wouldn’t have won without you, you played a great game,” I tell her. “I mean come on, how many high school players can get a triple-double?
On top of scoring the most points on the team. I remember watching you like it was yesterday!” She was spectacular. But she’s right, that Sally Ban was a great player, too. They went back and forth for most of the game. Lave would go over and drive to the basket, then Sally would come back and answer at the other end. It was a battle of point guards. But it was Lave who prevailed with the winning buzzer-beater shot. I’ll never forget it. She took the inbound pass with less than 10 seconds to go. Of course, Santa Barbara tried to double-team her with Sally and another player.
But she was able to split the double team, sprinted down the court with Sally on her tail, and at the last minute she pulled up for a jump shot at the free throw line. It was nothing but a net. The crowd went wild and rushed to the floor, but Lave went to Sally, hugged her and whispered something in her ear. “What did you say to her after you won?” I asked her. “I just told her she was the best player I ever faced and that she has made me a better player over the years,” she said. “Anyway, that’s all in the past. Let’s focus on the present. Are you excited to go out tonight and experience college life firsthand!” “I think so…”
“You say that like it’s a chore or something terrible. Why aren’t you excited?” she asks me. “I don’t know, I guess you’re right. We’re finally free from adult supervision. Then we might as well do naughty things.” “Now you sound like a kid, but exactly.” “Then how are we going to get alcohol?” I ask. “I secured a fake I.D.,” she tells me. “A friend of my support groups looks a lot like me and happens to be over 21 and gave me her I.D.” “Oh nice, fluke!” “Right! When I’m done unpacking I’ll go get some. Want to share a fifth of vodka?” she asks me. “Sure, I guess. I’ve never really drank before.” I tell her. “As if that’s not obvious,” she laughs. “Hey! It’s not like I was ever invited to any of the parties your ‘friends’ threw,” I reply.
“That’s not true! I tried to get you to a lot of parties, but you were always “busy.” And for the record, none of those kids are my friends now,” she replies. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to bring that up.” “It’s all right, I think I’ll just go to the store and see if this fake I.D. works,” she mutters as she grabs her purse and keys. “Okay.” And with that, she left. God, why did I have to throw that in her face, as if she needed to be reminded of how all the people who said they were her friends quickly cast her aside when they discovered her secret. It’s all that jerk Scott’s fault. He couldn’t just leave her alone. He had to tell everyone about her secret. I remember that day all too well. I don’t understand why she started dating him to begin with. He is one of the biggest assholes in school. The star basketball player and captain of the team. Basketball was the only thing they had in common. When I heard they were dating … I never thought she would go after a jerk like him. It was after they lost to Santa Barbara for the conference title our junior year.
She came over Sunday night and told me she was dating that loser. I couldn’t with my life figure out why. They were serious for over a year. It was after Lave led the team to the state championship that he showed his true nature. I don’t know exactly what happened, just rumors. They were at a party and I think Scott took her into one of the bedrooms. Apparently, he rushed out of the room and left Lave in tears. Monday at school there was a rumor that Lave was transgender, of course with different, more offensive names. Lave was expelled from the soccer team, she lost all her athletic scholarships, the school lost its state title for girls’ basketball, and she was ostracized and hated because of this. The sad thing was that I never knew. She was devastated and she became depressed.
But everything seemed to have worked out in the end. If that had never happened, neither of us would go to Gennecho University or we wouldn’t be roommates. Of course, the only reason we’re roommates is because technically she’s still a man, so that’s why the university doesn’t let her room with girls. It was either a room for her alone or boys. Her parents didn’t want her alone, but they also didn’t want her with boys. They almost convinced her not to go. Fortunately, I was there for her when everything fell apart. I told them I would be her roommate and after everything we went through, they were more than happy with that arrangement. We both applied to GU at the last minute and were accepted. They gave us a double room and here we are. Chapter The rest of the day passed without much excitement.
Lave was able to get drinks without too much trouble. After she got back, we went downstairs and checked out the food court. They had a great selection of food. It was very impressive. After we ate out, we walked around campus some more. We were invited to a couple of house parties. Finally, we ate some food and went back to our rooms. It was the perfect day. It felt like a normal day with Lave. Like the old days, before she got really popular in high school. We would sit and talk for hours, or go for walks. She would often sneak into my room and we would discuss everything under the sun. Once she even talked about the death of her older sister, Sarah. The conversations we had were deep and I felt we just shared a bond. Things changed shortly after she became the star basketball player. Then she started dating Scott and things went downhill from there.
She rarely visited anymore and we became distant. Well, today was nothing like that. Today was the first day in a long time that we just chilled like we used to. After what happened the week after she came out of the closet as transgender, I didn’t really see her much. Even though we were both admitted to college and finally agreed to be roommates, Lave went away most of the summer. We did text, but that’s not the same as talking in person. As we sat in our dorm room, Lave opened the vodka and mixed both of our drinks with sprite. I took a sip and almost spit it out. “What’s the matter, don’t you like it?” she asked. “Did you even put sprite in it? It feels like it’s all vodka!” I told her. Literally, it was vodka with a touch of sprite. “Man up, you’re such a lightweight!” she lets out laughing. “And don’t come up with that, I’ve never been drinking excuse. This is college, you’re going to learn the hard way how to handle your drinking.” “But … that’s not fair!” I argue. She gives me a smile as she takes a sip, I see the scar on the inside of her wrist and it sends a shiver down my spine.
“Life isn’t fair,” she replies. She knows that more than anyone with all she’s been through. She almost didn’t make it out of that dark place. I almost lost her. The memory of that day gives me a knot in my stomach. When Scott announced her as transgender, a lot of terrible things happened after that. I’m not even talking about losing her scholarship or the state championship. She was ostracized by the people who said they were her friends. They bullied her and shamed her. That wasn’t the worst of it. It’s what I did after that that really broke her. When I heard what people were saying about her, I didn’t believe the rumors at first. I thought Scott was making it all up because she didn’t want to have sex with him. There’s no way she was transgender. I would have known! We had no secrets from each other. At least, I didn’t. When I confronted her about it at school, she finally told me the truth.
“Kevin … The rumors are true … I am … I was born a boy,” she told me. I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t the fact that she was a boy that bothered me, it didn’t matter to me at all. I just thought I knew who she was. I thought we knew everything about each other and now it turned out I didn’t know her at all. I was confused and I felt like she didn’t trust me. If she couldn’t tell me the truth about that already, what else didn’t she trust me with? When she saw the look on my face… The look of disbelief, shock, pain, anger, confusion all in one. It devastated her. She must have thought I was disgusted with her. I wasn’t, at least not because she is transgender. Tears began to roll down her cheeks. Before I knew it, she was leaving.
The rest of the day I sat in class and couldn’t stop thinking about it. About everything! The fact that she was transgender and hadn’t told me. All those horrible rumors that were going around school. That she had been kicked off the girls soccer team and had her scholarship revoked. The pain in her eyes when she saw how I reacted when she finally told me. The more I thought about it, the more I realized why she hadn’t told me. The way everyone treated her when they found out she was born a boy, it’s no wonder why she didn’t tell anyone. And the way I overreacted. Will she ever forgive me? Now I feel so terrible about everything. All she wanted was a normal life as a girl. I can’t believe I acted this way. She was my friend… She is my friend! My best friend and I feel like I betrayed her. Just like everyone else. I need to go talk to her. I need to let her know how I feel and that I’m sorry I overreacted. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I waited for the right moment to check it. The teacher was teaching the entire lesson. He was constantly looking at me for some reason. It felt like an eternity passed. Finally the bell rang and I pulled out my phone. Lave had sent me a message! I opened it quickly. Kevin, I never meant to hurt you. I really like you and I’m sorry I didn’t tell you the truth. I just knew deep down that you wouldn’t understand. Not many people do.
I don’t blame you for that. I don’t blame you for anything. You were always kind to me and I enjoyed every minute we spent together. I just can’t live like that anymore. I can’t live as a boy and society doesn’t accept me as a girl. There is no place in this world for me. I hope one day you can forgive me. I wish one day you will find happiness. – Jess. No! What have I done! I immediately tried to call her phone, but it went straight to voicemail. She must have turned it off! Fuck! Lave, please pick up the phone, you don’t want to do this! Please don’t do this! I quickly hung up and hurried out of the classroom. I called 911 as I ran down the hall. ‘911 what are you reporting,’ the dispatcher said. ‘My girlfriend just texted me and I think she’s going to do something drastic. I think she might try to take her own life. You have to do something!” I shouted spastically into the phone. “She said she couldn’t live like this anymore! She said there is no place for her in this world anymore! You have to save her! Please! ‘You must calm down. Where is she now?” the dispatcher asked.
‘I don’t know! I think she’s at home. I’m on my way there now!” I shouted frantically into the phone as I hurried to my car. ‘Do you have an address? What’s her name?” the woman on the phone asked. I told her the address and gave her Lave’s name. She told me she would send someone. They would be there soon. I got in my car and drove as fast as I could to her house. When I finally arrived at her house, an ambulance was already there. I rushed inside. Jess, please live! I can’t lose you! I found them in the hallway just outside the bathroom. The floor was all wet. The water had a red tint to it. Oh no! The paramedics had Jess on a stretcher; they were trying to stop the bleeding from her arms. She was soaking wet. She had cut herself! They had a breathing mask on her.
“Jess!” I shouted. “Sir you need to step back, we don’t have much time. We have to stop the bleeding and get her to the hospital. She needs a blood transfusion.” one of the EMTs said to me. Everything that happened from that point on was hazy. The next thing I remember was sitting in the hospital waiting for news about Lave. Her parents had just arrived. They were both freaking out. They went to the front desk. “My daughter has just been admitted. I need to see her. I need to make sure she’s okay. Her name is Lave Graceson.” She said as tears fell from her eyes. “Hold on, let me look up her records.” Said the woman at the counter. I stood up and walked toward them. As soon as she saw me she rushed over to me. “Kevin, what’s going on? What happened to Lave?” she asked. “I… She… She tried to…” I didn’t know what to say. So I pulled out my phone and showed them the message. When she read the message, a look of dejection appeared on her face.
“What – what does the message say!?” Asked Jess’ father. She handed him the phone as more tears streamed down her cheeks. “Is she … is she okay?” she asked. “I … I don’t know, they won’t tell me anything because I’m not family. I think they were able to save her. She was alive when they brought her here.” I stuttered. I was a complete wreck. “As soon as I saw her text message, I called 911.” “You did the right thing, Kevin,” Lave’s father said to me. At that moment, a doctor came out. “Are you Mr. and Mrs. Graceson?” he asked. “Yes! How is my little girl? Is she all right? What is going on?” asked Mrs. Graceson desperately.
“She’s alive and she’s in stable condition,” he said. Then he turned to me. “Are you the guy who called 911?” I nodded. “Well son, you saved her life. If emergency responders had arrived a second later, she probably wouldn’t have survived. She lost a lot of blood.” Mrs. Graceson collapsed and pulled me into a giant hug. I couldn’t help it either, tears sprang from my eyes as well. I couldn’t believe I had almost lost her that day. If I hadn’t opened my phone, or called 911. It could have ended terribly. “Scout! You’re not even listening to me!” “What?” I looked up at Lave as she took a sip of her drink. “You were completely off for a while,” she told me. “Oh…I’m sorry. I’m just glad you’re here,” I tell her. “Well … ah … thanks. I’m glad you’re here, too. That came out of nowhere,” she says. “Everything okay?” “Yeah! Everything’s great!” I tell her. “What did you say now?” “I just said, we don’t have to go out tonight. We can stay in and just have a drink. Just the two of us,” she says. “I know you don’t really like the party thing and to be honest, I want to stay in tonight anyway.” “Yeah, that’s fine with me!” She smiles at me and I smile back at her. “Have I ever told you that I’m glad I have you as my best friend?” She asks. “I think maybe once or twice.” “Well, Kevin … I’m so glad to have a friend like you!” She puts her hand on my head. We sit on her bed like old couples do before they go to bed. I turn my hand over and our fingers interlock. “Just friends?” I ask.
My heart feels like it’s beating out of my chest. She looks into my eyes. “Do you want to be more than friends?” I stare back into those beautiful brown eyes. I take a big sip of my drink. “Yes,” I say. “I’ve always wanted that.” “Really?” she asks. “Yes, ever since we first hung out, I had feelings for you. I didn’t know exactly what those feelings were until I almost lost you,” I admit. “Lave, I’m in love with you.” “Even though I’m transgender?” she asks. “Yes. I don’t care! I don’t care that you used to be a boy. I don’t care what you have between your legs. I love you, Lave!” I tell her. “Every second we spend together, I fall more in love with you. You are my best friend and there is no one in the entire universe with whom I would rather spend the rest of my life. I know it sounds weird and stupid, but that’s how I feel.” She looked at me with those eyes, those beautiful eyes. A tear rolled down her cheek.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you. I just feel that way. Please, just…” Before I could say another word, she leaned forward and kissed me. The touch of her lips on mine sent explosions through my mind. Suddenly, I felt a splash of something wet and cold. We both jumped backwards. Half of Jess’ drink landed in my lap. We both shot out laughing. She took my drink and put them both on the nightstand. “I’m so sorry.” “Don’t be,” I tell her. She pulls me into a kiss again. “You don’t really need those pants, do you? Let me help you take them off,” she grabs the buckle of my belt and begins to undo them. “Who needs pants anyway, right?” I joke. Gently I place my hands on the sides of her face and pull her back as our lips meet again. Her fingers unbuckle my belt and she begins to work on unbuttoning my pants. Soon she begins to pull them down. She pulls back and looks down as she removes my pants. “Jess, how exactly are we going to do this?” I ask her. “Honestly? I don’t know, I’ve never done this before,” she says. “But, I mean … I guess we’ll uh … you know.” “Anal?” I ask. “Yes,” she says. “Are you okay with that?” “Yes. I’m fine with that. Ah… who goes to um… You know… Receiving and whatnot…” I ask.
“Can we take turns?” she asks. “Uh yes, I… That works.” “If you don’t want to do this I understand,” she says. “Lave, I definitely want to do this!” I tell her. Her face lights up with that infectious smile and she plants another kiss on my lips as she climbs on top of me. “Me too!” she says. I hook my thumbs under her shirt and pull it over her head. She wears a purple lace bra underneath. I place my hands on her hard abs and slowly move up to the back of her bra. She squirms slightly as my fingers stroke her skin. “That tickles,” she laughs. “I’m sorry, I…” She presses her lips to mine again as I try to unhook her bra. After a few failed attempts, she leans back. “Here let me do it.” She slides the lacy straps off her arms and twists the bra around. She unclicks it and makes it look so easy. She holds her arm over her breasts, as if afraid I won’t like them, as she tosses her bra aside. “Don’t judge, my mother said I could get breast implants when I finished college.” I laugh, then lean forward and press my lips to hers, reassuring her that there is nothing to be afraid of. Her hand falls against my side. I move down from her lips, lightly kissing her neck and moving to her breasts. They are really small and perky.
“They’re perfect!” I say to her. She moans as my tongue circles her nipple. Her hand goes to the back of my head and lightly strokes through my hair. I move to her other nipple and suck it into my mouth, making her gasp. I immediately let go. “Did that hurt? I’m sorry!” She laughs, “No it’s okay. I don’t mind.” I continue to suck on her nipple, eliciting all sorts of moans and panting. She slips her hands under my shirt and begins to lift it. I detach myself from her breasts as she pulls the shirt over my head. She tosses the shirt over her head. Then she puts her hands behind my ears again and pulls me toward her, our lips meeting once more. Her tongue slides into my mouth and becomes entwined with mine. The passion I feel for her burns deep in my heart. I wrap my arms around her and hold her tightly. She pulls back and looks into my eyes. “Kevin…I love you.”
Her hand caresses my cheek. “I love you too!” That smile takes over her beautiful face and she leans back and once again our tongues are engaged in a dance. I kiss her as if this is the last day I have left on this earth. Finally she pulls back and gets off the bed. She turns around and begins to unbutton her pants. She looks back at me. “Close your eyes.” “Why?” I ask. “Please, it’s just … I’m nervous. Okay?” I get up from the bed and put my arms around her. “It’s okay to be nervous. I’m nervous, too. I’ll never hurt you again.” My hands find their way to the button of her pants. She lets go and lets me do it. I undo them and hook my thumbs under them and pull them down. I kiss my way down her back as I pull her pants down. She’s wearing matching purple underwear. She has such a thick, but lean, bulging butt. Probably from all those years of exercise. She grabs my shoulder as she lifts one of her legs. I slide her pants off her leg and then she lifts the other. As I pull off the other pant leg, she lets go of my shoulder. I hook my fingers under her underwear and pull it down, exposing that perfect ass.
I release her panties as they fall to her feet. She looks at me as my face is inches from her ass. I give her buttocks a kiss. She pulls her cheeks apart, revealing a beautiful rosebud. I press my lips against it and kiss it gently. She moans as my tongue presses against her entrance. I press on and my tongue slides into her anus. I smother her pucker in spit as my tongue goes in and out of her ass hole. She finally steps away and turns around. I finally see her cock for the first time. It’s hard as a rock. I’ve never seen anyone else’s cock before. It is slightly bigger than mine. I don’t know whether to be embarrassed or impressed. She is completely clean-shaven. I look up into her eyes and try to understand what she wants. She brushes her hand against my face. I reach up and wrap my hand around her cock. She lets out a moan. “I’ve never … ah … done this before.” I say to her.
She laughs. “I know.” “Right…” I say. I close my eyes, open my lips and take the tip of her cock into my mouth. It’s spongy and tastes musky. I swirl my tongue around it. She makes a soft moan. I try to suck on it like a popsicle, which elicits a gasp. “Wow, you’re good at this!” Moans she as I take more of her member into my mouth. Her hands work their way through my hair and push me forward. I stroke my hands against her thighs. Her strong athletic thighs. She pushes forward and pushes her cock past the entrance to my throat. I gag on her cock. She releases my head and I pull back from her cock. It falls from my lips, bringing with it a trail of spit. “Do you want to try anal now?” She asks. “Is it going to hurt?” I ask. “A little at first,” she says. “I thought you’d never done this before…”
“Only with a dildo,” she says. “Oh…” “We don’t have to do it if you don’t want to,” she says. “No, I do want to. I’m just nervous, that’s all.” She smiles and helps me up. Our lips connect again for a deep, long, passionate kiss. She pulls back and our eyes connect. “How do you want to do this?” “I don’t know, you want to be on top first, right?” I ask. “I don’t have to first,” she says. “No, go ahead, I trust you,” I tell her. She slides her hands under my boxers and pulls them down, releasing my hard cock. I kick it out and she wraps her hand around my cock while giving me another kiss. She gives me a shove and lets me fall back onto the bed. I crawl back on the bed and she climbs on top of me, her lips on mine. Then she breaks away from me and slides off me. She lifts my legs and presses my knees against my chest. I put my hands behind the backs of my knees.
She kisses each of my hamstrings and makes her way to my buttocks. She licks my balls and works her way to the entrance of my ass. Then her tongue slides in along my rectum. Her hand slides along the back of my thigh as her tongue slides in and out of my asshole. It feels so strange, in a good way. I let a moan slip from my lips. She pulls her tongue away and I feel something else pressing against my butthole. Her finger slides into my anus. It sends a jolt through me. I gasp out. “God, your ass is so tight,” she says. I growl as she pushes her finger deeper. It hurts, but not that much. It also feels a little good, if that makes any sense. It’s a strange sensation. I like it. She pulls and pushes her finger in and out of my ass. Then she pulls it all the way out. “I’m going to try two fingers now.” I feel her pressing against my ass hole, this time it hurts a little more. I let out a moan as she pushes her two fingers into my asshole. She continues to push inside. I gasp a little and get tense. “Relax, it won’t hurt so much if you just breathe and let it happen.” I try to do as she says and concentrate on my breathing.
She starts fucking my ass with her fingers. I moan out as she withdraws her fingers. “Are you ready to try to take my cock?” “Yes, I think so. Go easy on me,” I tell her. “Don’t worry Kev, I’ll make sure it hurts as little as possible,” she says. “Should we get a condom?” I ask. “Are you afraid of getting pregnant?” she giggles and I start laughing too, realizing how stupid that question was. Neither of us have to worry about that and this is the first time either of us has had sex. I feel her cock rubbing up and down along my ass crack. She spits right on the rosebud of my ass. She continues to rub her cock, smearing the saliva around my pucker. “Remember, just breathe,” she says as she begins to push her cock into my asshole. The pressure begins to build. The pain takes over. I release my legs, grab hold of the sheets and bite my bottom lip as I feel the tip of her cock break through my sphincter. I wrap my legs around her waist.
She grabs my wrist and I let go of the sheet as she folds her fingers between mine. “I’m in, that was the worst.” She holds it there as she leans forward and presses her lips against mine. She bites my bottom lip, then slowly begins to push her hips forward. Her cock slowly enters me. I gasp as our mouths continue to connect. She breaks off our kiss. “It doesn’t hurt that much, does it?” “No…” I whimper. It hurts, but I can bear it. “Go on.” She gently pushes on. “Oh god you’re so tight, I’m almost all the way in.” I feel her hot breath against my face as she gives me one last thrust. “There we go, I’m all the way in now. See, it’s not that bad.” I can feel her hard cock inside me. It feels so big and tight. I can feel the veins of her cock. S
he slowly pulls it half out and starts pushing it back in. With my free hand I put it on the back of her neck and pull her lips against mine. She slowly begins to move her hips back and forth in a slow motion. I moan into her as her cock begins to rub against my prostate. “Fuck, it’s starting to feel really good!” I whisper. “Yes, do you want me to go faster?” she asks. “Yes!” I moan. She begins to pick up the pace. She rocks her hips back and forth, sending her cock in and out of my ass. “Oh fuck!” “Oh Kev, I’ve wanted you for so long!” She whispers as she looks into my eyes. I lean forward and kiss her just as her cock dives deep inside me. It’s starting to feel great. My cock is rock hard now. I can feel it could explode at any moment. Her cock starts to get harder. “I think I’m going to cum,” she moans.
“Ahhh, me too!” I exclaim. My cock erupts and sprays us both with a white, sticky liquid. I feel her cock begin to pulse inside me. A hot, steamy substance spreads inside me. She goes all the way in and shoots another stream of seed into me. “Oh fuck that was amazing!” Gasps she. My legs fall down as she pulls out and collapses on top of me. Our lips touch and then she rests her head against my chest. “Kev, I love you!” “I love you too Lave,” I tell her as I kiss her forehead. We stay there, wrapped in each other’s arms, and not long after, she falls asleep and I quickly follow.
